Anyone else experiencing delays in closing an ISA with Barclays?

Hi is anyone having difficulties closing the above? I have been trying since 18th January to close a fixed term ISA (due to the cost of living crisis) I have had to take early retirement and I am needing it to live on! However Barclays are taking their sweet time about carrying out my instructions. I have complained to Barclays who sent me two bottles of wine (wow something free from a Bank!) 🤣 But honestly I really need the cash! I have complained to the Financial Ombudsman but I doubt it will go anywhere 🙄. I have precisely £1.99 in my bank acct at the moment and I am at my wits end!

Are you trying to close the Fixed term ISA within the 14 day cancellation period? Can you not withdraw from your ISA to barclays current account (assuming you hold one), but if outside 14 day cancellation period will be subject to loss of interest.

Hi Aidanmc , yes I am trying to transfer it to my Barclays current a/c yes I am aware I will lose interest, but I would rather that than sell a bond.... It is over 14 day cancellation period sadly.
