Passport renewal glasses problem

Need to renew my passport but I'm having problems uploading my photo due to my complex prescription (it's seeing my thick lenses as reflection). I'm happy to upload a photo without them on but just wondering if this may cause me a problem because I'm wearing them on the old passport. Would be interested to know if anyone has had a similar situation.
Many thanks
The funny thing is a few years ago we went to France in our sons car as I dont drive long distances - its a big thing, a massive suv high up and I ws in the front passenger seat - the french guy was twisting etc and trying to look at me and without him asking I took my glasses off, he kept on looking and I remembered. Lol, I had a tash on my passport picture and I said you looking for my moustache and he smiled and soon after handed our passports back.
So, OP, do not worry, please1 -

Even more, reassurance, don't forget some men have a beard when a passport pic was taken and when they go abroad, no beard. It hapend to our son, he's grown a beard and went to Switzerland on business a few months ago and there was no delay.
Many years ago, at least more than 10 I think, usa, they were using eye scan equipment - not sure how that worked buy the managed to mx up the passports in Florida and we were delayed and pulled aside - I was really worried as at least one of us was to be sent back as around that time we all had new-sih passports and had not put them to the test in the usa at theat time - we my and Mrs Diy's parents are from an Asian country and thought, come all this way, excited and this happens plus I was embarassed as we were the only people of that background on the plane looking back down the queue. It turned out the guy at the desk got the passports mixed up betweek Mrs Diy and one of our daughters as they chatted - the lady with a gun that came along, they all have guns was not as nice as the guy on the desk and looked angry - they asked a few questions re where we have beenbefore and i told them we were there 2 years before as a group. About ten ims later seemed like an hour they came back said ok to go and no apology, reason, it was the guy at the desk that stamped the passoprts said "looks like my co-worker made a mistake and mixed up the passoprts." We were all just happy and thanked him and out in the sun in a few mins after that picking up our suv
What I am saying is dont worry as long as you have nothing to hide you are good
However, word of caution - ALWAYS carefully check the details on your passport especially if your name is long, diffult to pronounce etc and after that all is good
Have a nice hols0 -
Back in the days when a passport could be renewed at a consulate in person I applied for mine in a European city where I resided, photos taken with the full beard I had at the time.During the week or two that the process would take I wanted to travel, so retained my old passport, which meant that I had to collect the new passport at the consulate instead of them mailing it to me.I went somewhere quite warm, so shaved off my beard and arrived back at the consulate clean-shaven. The consular officer handed me the new passport, in exchange for the old one, and asked me to make sure that everything was correct. So I checked it and said "Yes, everything's fine.. (slight pause)... Apart from the beard..""Well," he said, "I wasn't going to say anything..", and we both had a bit of a chuckle. There wasn't the slightest intimation of any possible problems, and during ten years of regular travel and varying facial hairstyles there was of course none.Evolution, not revolution0

Your new photo is compared to your old one using facial recognition software so it makes no difference if you glasses on in your old photo. I would definitely take your glasses off when your photo is being taken as the whole eye socket has to be clear and if you have a strong prescription it will distort the measurements. If you upload a code from a photo booth it is more likely to be accepted as the system automatically accepts these.2
