JAL business class X

Does anyone know any restrictions on this class of ticket? The only thing on the website talks of cancellation fees and airmiles. They seem to be using BA codeshare on routes offering this fare. I just wanted to be assured that normal business class "perks" would apply. Of course I rang them but after over a hour on hold I gave up!

X fare class on JAL is what they market as a "Business Saver" fare.  It is the most discounted published fare in the business class cabin.

I think you have all the usual business class extras available to you but the earning level on mileage accrual is I believe only 70% of the value. There are also more restrictive penalties on changes.

From what I understand you still would have pre seating selection, usual business class baggage allowances, business class check-in and lounge access.

Thanks for that, I appreciate your reply..... Why do they make it so difficult to get that level of info from their website in clear concise language and then never answer the phone!
