Just curious if you had any further correspondence since their response to the SAR request?
Can you please advise if you sent your SAR request to their address on the top of the LBC letter as I'm going to be doing the same?
sorry for the delay, I sent a copy to the correspondence address on their website nd a copy via email too. I've not really done anything further since, in fact i've just sat down to write them a letter insisting on seeing the correct documentation, not generic and a copy of the contract as per section 5 of the PAP, i am going to say they can redact information that falls under GDPR but without me seeing the contract with the landowner the debt is unenforceable?
i may even do what was mentioned in oyur thread about their phoney LBC and inform them they shall be reported for fraud.
I've just received the response to my SAR today via post. (I'll post the details in my thread but apart from a few pictures they don't really have anything I'm worried about.)
If they haven't contacted you for a good couple of months now since their SAR response its a good indication that they have probably given up chasing as you have shown that you are not just going to roll over and hand over the money. Which is great!
Will be interested to see what happens if you do continue to correspond with them.
Cheers!
They were never going to contact anyway as this wasnt a real lbc and therefore no claim would be forthcoming, so its irrelevant1 -
The claimant has up to 6 years to make a claim. If it's gone quiet, it doesn't mean it isn't going to reappear, phoenix-like, at some point in the future. In fact, you can probably safely bet that a debt collector or one of the bottom-dwelling legal firms that deal with the dog mess that is the PPC industry will either purchase the debt or offer a no-win no-fee option to the claimant to resurrect it at some point within 6 years of the PCN issue date.CletusMaximus said:
