Compensation agreed...

Hi
Any help gratefully received.  We have had our compensation agreed for delayed flight to our holiday last year.  The claim was agreed on 22nd November and I can see it as agreed on the system, but when I have messaged to ask how long we will have to wait (we are at 12 weeks waiting for the comp now), we are told that we are in a queue and there are operation issues!  My query is, how long is a reasonable time to wait for our comp back and is there anything I can do about it?

    If the airline concerned has a UK presence then you could pursue them through the courts, but that takes time too, and money, albeit reclaimable.

    Have you made sure that the unnamed airline has your bank details so that they can pay?
  • Yes, they have everything to proceed with the payment but just will not give us a date on when it will be paid.  I just wonder how long we could be waiting?
