Selling concert tickets advice

Hi, I’m looking for advice about selling concert tickets on Facebook marketplace. I am unable to list the tickets on ticketmaster, as I bought them from AXS, who deal with tickets for the o2 in London, and cannot offer resale. I know there has to be an element of trust on both the buying and selling side of things. For instance, would using PayPal be the safest option for payment. I am interested to hear from people who have experience of this from both perspectives. Any help given would be appreciated. Thank you.

i am a regular user of FB marketplace and would not consider it a place where you rely on trust whether buyer or seller, it’s like Gumtree and you need to ensure you fully protect yourself for any sale at all. If you are allowed to sell, and I agree with the above that I don’t believe they allow the sale of tickets, then you would need to physically post the tickets to the address given by PayPal within 7 days of payment. Tickets are only covered by RM against loss if an enhanced postal service is used, so check that as well. Even then you would not be protected against a SNAD claim.
if you use a FB local group they tend to have less rules and you might be able to negotiate cash on collection .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. There may be specialist groups on FB, eg. for the band/event the tickets relate to, which would give a good point of contact for selling the tickets. When I buy things via PayPal I will only do so using the Goods/Services option, as it protects me as a buyer; there are lots of scammer sellers who get folks to pay Friends & Family, which gives the buyer no protection when they don't receive their items (the clue is in the name).0

Thank you all for your help. It’s been very helpful. I’ve been to a specialist group there who act as a go between for selling, but to be cautious I’ll leave it now. It’s not worth the hassle, plus as you say, ticket resale is forbidden. I had looked at eBay through stubhub, but yet again the sale of tickets there also says forbidden0

https://support.axs.com/hc/en-gb/articles/200747305-Can-I-cancel-an-order- In this link they refer to their 'fan friendly resale platform', can't you use that? I haven't investigated the specific T&C for it.

I've been using Twickets recently - and there's certainly stuff on there for O2 (Peter Kay etc) but the basis of it is you have to sell at face value + a fee so not sure whether O2/AXS overlook it or whether only for specific artists/events1

Edit: this may not apply to your event, as pointed out below, apologies if I got the wrong end of the stick.0 -

For example, Wimbledon tickets these days are very locked down to prevent resale. The only exception for historic reasons are debenture holder's tickets0 -

You can generally sell tickets if they were purchased from AXS and if AXS Official Resale is available for the event. If you are unable to sell your tickets this could be due to the promoter requesting the show is unavailable for resale, the ticket is VIP-ticket or your ticket is priced as a special offer. To check if you can sell your tickets, sign in to your account and click on the event under “Your Events.” If you see a “Sell Tickets” button, you can sell!
I assume the OP can't see a 'Sell Tickets' button, hence starting this post.
OP, is that correct?1 -
That’s correct yes. On this occasion there is no option to sell. They said this was because of the promoters, as other tickets are listed on AXS1
