Tsb spend and save

I had a classic tsb account and changed to spend and save as they were offering 100+ cash incentive to change.  However, upon reading the proviso later, it seems this has to be done through the account switching service which obviously did not need to be done in my case.  Will I receive the cash incentive.  I tried calling but was cut off!

Unfortunately you need to use the Current Account Switch Service, which requires closing an account held elsewhere. So you won't receive the incentive but I'd say you are still in time to do a full switch if you have another account with a different bank

As above, pretty much all switch incentives require you to use the Current Account Switch Service (CASS). Fortunately however as you've not met the requirements for the previous offer, you haven't disqualified yourself from the new, more generous £200 offering from TSB: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6421699/tsb-up-to-200-switch-stay-offer-february-1-2023
  • I also have a classic TSB account and earlier this year I was sent an email asking if I would like to upgrade it to a Spend and Save. There was a financial incentive offered. I can't remember the exact amount but  it might have been £100. Given that I didn't have any outgoing direct debits on the account plus the need to make 30 debit cards transactions per month I ended up passing the offer up. However the upshot of this was that as this was an upgrade of an existing account it would have been done without using CASS.
Cinnamon I don't know if this is similar to what you we offered. It it is you might still get your £100 but be prevented on taking up the new offer.
Unfortunately I no longer have the email so it is possible that I may have incorrectly remembered the salient points.

It can vary a bit but usually around the 6th of the month.

Can someone just confirm that topping up my amazon gift card balance with the debit card will class as a transaction, eg do 5 x £1 top ups every month for the 5 transactions.

Doing the same, shows on the statement as 'DEB' debit card transactions, and used to work for their previous offers.

Another question related to the 5 card uses per month, will using Apple Pay in store count?

This has counted for me in previous months. Apple Pay used with TSB spend and save debit card in store.
