OP has not made that decision, as he says he is still weighing over the pros and cons. He certainly has not ‘given the car away’ - so whether you were having a go at him or me it wasn’t based on anything that had been said.baser999 said:
Poppystar, I appreciate that, I was just trying to draw attention to the short time line between OPs initial post and their decision to move the car on just 90 mins later.Ppoppystar said:
No, I was simply sharing my experience with the OP - it’s what we do on here!!baser999 said:
Post a thread at 11:51 requesting advice and at 1:22 car has been given away. Sorry but why bother asking for advice?poppystar said:
I ended up giving the car to charity - charity gained, no cost to me and no hassle either, they just collected. I feel bad I didn’t get an MOT sorted, new battery etc as the car was loved but at the end of the day I found the car was far more hassle than the house and I didn’t want to get into doing any possible expensive MOT repairs.Jo101 said:poppystar I don't plan to do any work to it. It's not a car I want to drive. Motorway sound interesting, will have a look. Thanks.0 -

Is this car petrol or diesel?
If petrol it will be ULEZ compliant.
From the OP's description there can't be much wrong with the car.
Someone will buy it as a punt.0 -
