It seems that it is the Normal for your house then.
You have 4 options, Pay up if you can afford it, It could be warmer next year or it may not, Reduce the room temp, Water temp and usage.
Convince the landlord to spend some money, new boiler, windows, insulation.
Or move to a newer better Energy rated property, Possibly costing more rent?1 -
You are paying on receipt of the bill by card?
Check if your supplier offers variable direct debit. From your screen shot it seems to be EDF, they do under the name of "whole amount direct debit".
If you do this they will debit you with the invoice amount, but you will get the direct debit discount. Payment by card is 7% to 9% more expensive.4
