Wireless smart thermostat

The Netatmo works by either wiring the thermostat or the relay directly to the boiler. If the existing thermostat is wireless then the new one will be, otherwise the thermostat can be fixed and the relay simply plugged in to any socket in range.valleyboy22 said:

What boiler (make/model) do you have? The best controller may vary according to what your boiler is capable of.valleyboy22 said:Hi,
We have a combi boiler with a manual digital thermostat currently.
I am trying to see if i can save some money with a smart one, so when i am in work i can control it from coming on when there is no one in the house.
Are they east to install, and can anyone recommend one if so, as i have seen Hive are popular.
Thanks
p.s. Drayton Wiser is another control system worth looking at.1
