pinkelephant12 said:@blobby123ff It was legitimate for them to make a costs application because they had previously offered to settle by paying me a higher amount than the value of my claim. However, we were unable to reach a settlement agreement, not because of money, but because of the excessive terms they were trying to impose on me. The judge accepted that I had actively tried to reach a settlement and I hadn't behaved unreasonably, so they got no costs.
No need to answer! I'd love to see your paperwork/submissions if you fancy pm-ing further info to me. I'd only share it with the BMPA group to help other people with residential defences and I'd like to tell the DLUHC about your Case, please.
Really hoping a typed Approved Judgment does arrive. Not sure if it will, as he handed it down verbally.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

After successfully suing the PPC, I took on the RMC.
At the time (2020), I made a data subject access request to the residential property management company as I had seen one of their directors taking photos of my car just before I started to get NTKs. They refused to comply. I complained to the ICO, who also instructed them to comply. They ignored the ICO.
I sued the RMC for failing to comply with Article 15 GDPR (now the UK GDPR). For various reasons, it took a long time, but I won the case and was awarded £260.
Thanks to all those who gave advice on my original thread back in 2020, especially @Castle
