@patient_dream They actually argued that a Notice to Driver was my fault because I hadn't gone out and physically stopped their operative from issuing it!

That just shows the front of these idiots, how can they possibly think that is reasonable!

You should get an Approved Judgment but if not please consider getting it transcribed.

I sued Horizon Parking for breaches of data protection law and I was awarded a four figure sum in damages.

DVLA and ICO weren’t interested and BPA found that there had been no breach of the Code of Practice, so it was down to me to hold Horizon Parking to account.

No doubt you will be updating all three parties on the outcome!
  • Fantastic work OP. Shame it's not an amount that will genuinely hurt them, otherwise they might think again when scamming innocent people.

That is a brilliant result. :)

I have always maintained that claims involving residential spaces are the worst. I could choose to never use the car park again where I was ticketed but a resident cannot.

I remember a similar case whereby the defendent owned two car parking spaces at the rear of their property and had such a problem with the PPC that it made them ill.

  • Hang on they tried to claim legal costs from you?! But they lost..
Can we claim costs against parking firms when they take us to court?
