Is there an account with apple pay for a 14 year old?
Currently she has Kite (Starling) but need to move banks as quite often she can’t pay for things unless I am available to authenticate the transaction on MY Starling app.

We need an account )independent of me) where she can authenticate her own transactions, and if moving we’d like one with Apple Pay so she can pay on her phone (not just her card)

Well mainstream banks offer accounts that have debit cards for 14 Year old that do not require approval. But not sure if they will also have apple pay.

As far as I know you only have to register a card with Apple that then goes in the Apple wallet and becomes Apple Pay0

- payment authentication by herself on her own app (not by a parent as Starling required)

Are Santander still offering the switching reward ? Not sure whether she would be acceptable for that but worth a try

My daughter cannot register her Revolut card with Google pay, as she is under 16, so she has stuck with her HyperJar card which, for some reason, allows her to attach to her Google Wallet.
Not sure if Apple Pay has same limitations. Good luck. I'll keep an eye on this thread0 -
