Almost 300 set asides in just one month, and I'd guess that most are private parking relatedThese are only private parking Set Asides for AOS members. The ones quoted make up the bulk but total S/A for PPC's is 325 from 1170.

Key issue are that
1. Default CCJ for all claims is about 90% which has been confirmed elsewhere by the Civil Courts User Group
2. The increase in Small Claims has gone from 30K per year in 2013 with a 30 week turnaround to 40K in 2021 with a 50 week turnaround.
3. The increase in cases is mainly due to PCN's are there are 12K - 15K cases per year. Set Asides, rehearing's and appeals just add to this.
4. Internet groups supporting motorists are causing the courts to grind to a halt, as everyone prefers 90% default judgements where no-one has to do any work and can just take the cash.
