No access via chromebook but can on android

I am unable to gain access to MSE on my chromebook using the username and password that I use on my android phone, why?

Hi @copter I regularly use the site on my Chromebooks (I have several).

On your phone are you using the MSE app, or visiting the site in a web browser? 

Can you clarify whether you mean you can't log in to the forum, or are you referring to the Credit Club or the Cheap Energy Club (they have separate logins).
