Evening all
Today's list:Babysat 5 year old GS this morning, so had great fun doing 5 y o things
Washing up by hand in my big white sink is always a hit, and he is actually very good at it. Not sure how moneysaving it is, as he runs the tap a lot. Other than that, it was painting and playdough all the way
Had to buy bread from the corner shop as GS wanted a sandwich and the bit of bread in the breadbin had mould spots
OH and I cleaned the filthy roof windows in the loft conversion after lunchI ended a subscription I decided I didn't want any more, so that will save £15 a monthDinner was leftovers from last night, when DS and his fiancee came round for a meal, so no cooking needed today.1 -
This week:
* submitted gas and electricity meter readings
* haven't the heating all week - jumpers, blankets, socks and hot water bottles
* tried to pay my some cash into my current account at the Post Office (wasn't able to do that for some reason but will try to rectify tomorrow with the bank)
* babysat twice over the weekend for cash
* made an overpayment on my mortgage
* submitted mileage and expenses claim
* meal planned for the week
* used my rewards to pay for part of the shop
* sent back the substitutes that I didn't want
* used my points card when I had to visit the supermarket and only bought the things that I needed
* booked an 'informal chat' with a potential new job
* started reading a book that I started and put down a few weeks ago
* used the airfryer/ microwave to cook dinner
