Have I lied on my CV?

I've been working freelance for the past few years. However, two of those roles were technically permanent roles that only lasted for six months. I've put it in my most recent experience section that says 'freelance' but not put freelance in the bullet point with the two employers and the time in the main text. Do you think employers will think I'm being dishonest?

Hi
Why do you think you completed the CV like you did? Did you feel it may undermine your application or is it just one of those things you do and then in hindsight start questioning what you did?
If I've understood you properly, should not be a problem but if you have written as perma jobs, They may want to ask why contract was not renewed etc, etc and I'm sure you could easily answer that.
If they will think its "dishonest," - personally, I would have a little think and put probing questions to you and if I was happy with that and you came top in the interview, subject to your responses, I'd take you on
As they say, honesty is the best policy (vast majority of the time 99.99%)
Good luck

If you have stated that you worked predominantly in freelance roles there isn't an issue. If you have stated that you worked freelance, with no qualifier to that statement, you are certainly misleading potential employers. If they require references and their enquiry says "Heisenberg8 worked for you on a freelance basis......" the likely response would be "Heisenberg8 was an employee, and did not work for us on a freelance basis....." That might take some explaining.

Why do you try and pass them off as freelance instead of short term roles?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

You clearly lied on your cv to cover up the fact that you failed two probationary periods - something which could well be picked up by a screening process.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
I think you’re being a bit disingenuous and some employers may query this. There is a big difference between freelance work and being employed permanently but only for a short period. It looks like you’re trying to hide why you left these places after a short time.0

Sounds like fundamental dishonesty to me.0

Technically it is fraud. It used to be known as "seeking to obtain a pecuniary advantage (i.e a job) by deception". Very occasionally more extreme cases are prosecuted.0 -
I get where you guys are coming from. Maybe I should have been clearer in hindsight. But for the background screening, I've been completely open and honest and given all the true information, including the fact that I was employed at those two roles. Do you think this could make things clear that I'm not trying to deceive? Or does it make it even worse that they don't match my CV?0

Hi
Please read my previous post and consider that. Hopefully, others may have something new to add.

When your answers to the background screening differ from the information provided on the CV it may not be helpful.
