Booking.com Scam

There is a major scam involving Booking.com where you're asked to promote quiet hotels. I have been hit for £8,500. 
1. Has anyone else fallen for it?
2. Does anyone know best Booking.com fraud number to report it to?

How did you manage to lose £8,500 by just promoting hotels?

Shouldn't you report it to Action Fraud?

I've just been scammed by the Russian Army who had all of my details from booking.com. 

They had my recent reservation details, my phone number, emails and shared screen shots of booking.com with me to show me that they have received payments

They scammed me via WhatsApp and also were able to login booking.com and send me messages to say that my payment was received. 

An unfortunate stupid mistake. Lets see how booking.com handle this.

Feeling pretty bloody stupid so please be kind.

Not sure if this is some elaborate windup but that's a pretty extraordinary claim - what has led you to believe they're involved in whatever scam you're referring to?
