Residential Parking Charge - Advice Please

Afternoon all, been a while but an update below, it's good news!
Case was allocated to local court and given a date of hearing. I then received calls from DCB Legal offering a discounted figure, which I rejected.
Following this I got an email from them with a lower figure.
I told them I wouldn't be paying anything unless told to by the Judge and was happy to represent myself in court, therefore to stop emailing me with any further discounts.
Less than a day later they've discontinued their case.
Thank you all so much for all your help, it is greatly appreciatied!8 -

I am sure he will add you to the hall of fame tomorrow.
Well done. Yay! A discontinuance = a win!
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation soon?
Anticipated to start THIS MONTH.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.
Please come back here when it opens.
If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.
Then join us when the Consultation opens. ...PLEASE!
We need all MSE-reading victims of this horrific harassment and bullying by parking firms and their hired 'legals' to be heard.
See you back here in a couple of weeks please, or in August, if you and your motoring family want to stop this litigation rush by banning the £70 add-on fee that disproportionately funds the roboclaim firms.
It will only be open for a few weeks.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Calling @Umkomaas to add womblecat to the damning list that proves that for DCBLegal, court appears to be just a 'numbers game'.
The county court system is being abused by roboclaim 'legals' creaming off the ever lucrative parking industry, using MoJ's automated system as a form of (effectively free) scary 'debt collection' to pick off low hanging fruit only.
It's legalised extortion IMHO and the MoJ should be ashamed of letting it continue.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm on it Ma'am. 👍Coupon-mad said:Calling @Umkomaas to add womblecat to the damning list that proves that for DCBLegal, court appears to be just a 'numbers game'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Wonder when DCBL will wake up to the fact that companies like UKPC have dragged them into the gutter and made them a laughing stock0
