Hi All,

With the cost of living crisis and mid contract price increases on the horizon I thought I would  ask for some advice regarding a regular router that has a SIM card slot where I could use an unlimited data SIM card on 5G as my area via Vodafone has 5G enabled.

I use Vodafone as my own mobile provider and the 5G coverage is pretty much perfect where I live get speeds between 150-350mbps constantly so was thinking of cancelling virgin and using 5G going forward.

Has anyone got any advice for when it comes to 5G sim enabled routers or had experience using one?

Thanks in advance ☺️

Cheapest solution usually be signing up 24 months contract with Three (via TBC, Quidco, etc) which they lend you the router.

Used unlock 5G router is looking at £250+

Alternatively, you can used an android 5G mobile then usb tethering to router
