WhatsApp query - can anyone explain/help?
I sent a WhatsApp message to my husband asking "how was the meal". Within a few minutes I received a response "it was good". But upon arriving home my husband said that he hadn't received my message nor sent a response as he'd left his phone in the car. Both my original message and the response are now showing on his WhatsApp.
This is the second time that this has happened.
Can anyone explain what's happening, why we're getting automated responses? Thanks.

Has someone else connected his account to whattsappweb?
I have whattsappweb on my computer (because I really really detest typing on a silly little on phone screen keyboard) so can answer messages on either.
Or you just sent the message to the wrong recipient?1 -
Thanks for the response. We both only do WhatsApp on our phones so he's not connected to whatsappweb (that we now of). Message was definitely to/from right recipient. It's a mystery.ProDave said:Has someone else connected his account to whattsappweb?

WhatsApp can be used on 4 linked devices so on his device go into Settings -> Linked Devices to see if he's signed in on something else.2 -
