    Thistle what?  The company's name.

    Which road & town?
Poole Quay Hotel.  It's behind the hotel.  Parking Eye is the company.   Im not sure if the link I posted is the right car park but might be.  Can't find a photo of car park online.  Can I get out of this?  Only 5 mins there

It's right off the road behind the hotel on Poole Quay

    poole quay hotel car park

    the quay is in front

they say longer 6 mins (but can't find it written down) when i called hotel  but i was there 5 mins.  Hotel receptionist is gonna send me a photo of tariff on wall, hopefully they confirm six minutes there

    You can appeal it.

Look at the latest POPLA Decisions.  Someone just won at POPLA in a similar case.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So just go onto same link and appeal again through Parking eye..  As the reason instead of putting other (which is what I put originally) should I say I was having to make an important call on my phone about my sick child and lost track of time?  And that it was only 5 mins.   The receptionist said there's a leeway of five or six minutes but when I drove there yesterday there's nothing to confirm this on the sign so could be argued as hearsay

What category on Popla do you select?   There's - other, extreme cirumstances etc (six categories)
  • Looking at your earlier threads, and the advice given so far, I do wonder?

These good people are giving up their time and helping victims of the scum who try to fleece them, for free.

Leaves a rather bitter taste when that good will is abused...

No.  You appeal to POPLA but NOT talking about mitigating circumstances.

The Popla section of the NEWBIES thread already tells you which option to choose and not to just fill in the boxes (except with your contact details and PCN, VRM where required of course).

@textbook Have you actually read the newbies thread? I don't mean skim-read. You need to re-read until you can digest it all and being to understand the process and all the steps involved in this. You will only get assistance once you show that you have begun to understand the process.

Steep learning curve? Yes. However, you need to start showing that you have a basic understanding.

You can plead mitigating circumstances until you are blue in the face. The PPC and POPLA will not care one iota about your misery/upset/circumstances. You are now involved with a disputed invoice/alleged debt. The only things that will be of use are legal points in contract law. You really must try and get to grips with this and think very hard about what you are posting/asking.

Just read this in POPLA thread-

Whole process took 5 minutes and therefore is covered by BPA code of conduct consideration period (section 13.1).

I was in my Parking Eye car park for five minutes, does this mean I can get off with a POPLA appeal?   If so, what section/category do tick on appeal?

You tick what the third post of the NEWBIES thread (all about how to win at POPLA) explains to tick and you submit a full appeal by PDF.

This is not about"getting off".  It's not a fine - but of course you can use the BPA Code of Practice section about consideration periods.
