Then more details of the event will be required before the experts here can assist.

I'm sure one of them will be along soon.

The keeper should send the parking company the blue text template appeal easily found in the opening post of the NEWBIES thread.

Should be winnable at POPLA if you drove in by mistake, read the signs then left & parked somewhere else.

You can and should add those facts to the template appeal, which we will not link here because it's two clicks away and my signature already tells everyone exactly what to click on.

Obviously you'll have tried a complaint to the Hotel?  As anyone would have surely tried first.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Do I go onto-

    www.parkingeye.co.uk/appeal

didnt complain at hotel but did say to train station guard what i'd done

    and write this?-

    Did

TEMPLATE ''ONE SIZE FITS ALL'' FIRST APPEAL THAT DOESN'T SAY WHO WAS DRIVING:

    Re PCN number:

I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner.

There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. Since your PCN is a vague template, I require an explanation of the allegation and your evidence. You must include a close up actual photograph of the sign you contend was at the location on the material date as well as your images of the vehicle.

If the allegation concerns a PDT machine, the data supplied in response to this appeal must include the record of payments made - showing partial VRNs - and an explanation of the reason for the PCN, because your Notice does not explain it.

If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner.

THE NAME AND POSTAL ADDRESS OF THE KEEPER (OR THE HIRER/LESSEE) GOES HERE, OR IN THE RELEVANT BOX ON THEIR APPEALS PAGE.

    THE DRIVER IS NOT IDENTIFIED.

DON'T POST IT BY ROYAL MAIL UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION ON THE PCN.

CERTAINLY NOT BY RECORDED DELIVERY - FORGET THAT!
ALWAYS USE THE ONLINE APPEAL PAGE - OR EMAIL IF OFFERED AS AN OPTION ON THE NOTICE - BECAUSE THE APPEAL CANNOT GET LOST AND YOU CAN KEEP PROOF/ A SCREENSHOT. NO NEED TO USE YOUR REAL SIGNATURE IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER APPEAL OPTION BUT POSTAL...BUT OF COURSE YOU PUT YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS!

Why are you doing that before the Hotel complaint?

That's the opposite of what the NEWBIES thread advises everyone is PLAN A.

I dunno what plan A is but tried searching

    emailed reception at hotel this-

    Found this-
    This?

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I’m writing to appeal a parking charge, I feel I am not liable for the parking charge as there was insufficient signage in place at the point of parking. The only sign visible to me on site was the one attached as evidence.  it didn’t give me any indication of where to pay therefore I was unable to determine what the relevant parking restrictions were because there was no clear signage to explain what they were and with no parking meters onsite I had very little options available to me. I also feel that the Charge notice is Punitive and unfair. The £100 parking charge is arbitrary and disproportionate to any alleged breach of contract or trespass when the charge for 24hrs parking is only £10 to which I would have paid if I had been given instruction to do so.l.  I was also only there for five minutes and quickly left

I so hope you can help – thanks again

    name

    reg

    Arrival date 14/01/2023-   16.54

    Departure  14/012023-   16.59

Now onto appeal site right away-

     Now  going straight onto appeal-

i'm now in appeal section and do I put

-none of above or do I put driver for driving section or just owner? for whether I'm the driver?

What do i put for reason for appeal?

Then a long letter for reason so do i put this-

    e PCN number:   (Ref number)

I've already emailed a complaint to the hotel in which this fine was given.

If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner.

I was only there for five minutes arriving at 16.54 and leaving at 16.59

    Job done?

Please help,  i can't find templates.  The threads are confusing.   Please tell me if I've answered the three questions in appeal correctly in my above post?
