What happens when Sky Q cancellation goes through?

I put in my 31 day cancellation notice a while back because my contract was up and they were offering me ridiculous terms to recontract.
My Sky tv subscription is ending on Sunday. What happens then? They haven't sent me the packaging to return the box but when it cuts off on Sunday, will I still be able to use the box for now until I return it to watch the freeview type channels such as BBC1 and ITV etc or will they also cut off?

I can tell you tomorrow when I'm disconnected.
Last day with SkyQ today.
I too haven't received any packaging to return their items.

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/return-tv-broadband - "You can reuse the box any new equipment came in. If you don’t have that to hand, you can use any other packaging as long as it’s secure and you include a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment included. For Sky Q or Sky Broadband returns, when you start your return, we’ll send out returns packaging."

No more Sky for me.
All standard channels still work, nothing sky related.
Can't record anything.
No apps accessible.
No catch up.
Just had text saying they've posted prepaid packaging to send the sky equipment back asap.1 -
Hello
We've had sky for about 30 years - theyve never asked back for the previous units - we have sky q and the smaller boxes, so they may ask for the return of those if we lef?
Thanks0 -
If you cancel your subscription and left Sky, they'll ask you to return your boxes. They tell you they'll send you some prepaid packaging to pop them in to send them back. I think you have to send them back within a month or so.0

Since Sky Q they are just rented (although Sky may use different terminology), so they will want them back if you cancel the service.0 -
Yes they want the mini boxes back as well.
I've got 2 and paid £50 each for them, but they still say they want them back.
You can't win with them.

Whatever you do do not lose the receipts from sending everything back.
We cancelled broadband first, sent the router back. 5/6 weeks later cancelled Sky Q, sent the box/mini box etc back.
2/3 months later recieved an email stating we hadn't sent anything back and we would be charged for everything. I tend to take a picture of receipts etc so had everything available to give them but without them the bill was several hundred pounds. Guess it's not a one off experience either considering both packages sent at different dates didn't get recieved according to their system.1
