    Just tried it
    No offence but you sometimes have to ask the obvious, it's easy to get involved and miss something simple.
    Move along, nothing to see.
  • Just an update on this, I have got it working. The instructions said to connect the DVD to the SATA secondary socket, so I connected it to no.2. I have connected it to no.1 and now the drive works but I have a new problem which I will post on a new thread, thanks for the help though.
