Looking for some help please.
KLM have cost us over £1000 this year with 2 trips spoiled. Our most recent trip was in December from Inverness - Amsterdam - New York. When we arrived at Inverness we were told our flight had been delayed by 1 hr. We only had 1hr 5 to change in Amsterdam. We managed to make this however our luggage did not. We were given a Delta lost luggage reference and leaflet. Our luggage arrived 36 hours later. We had to purchase necessary items and were told we could claim this back. Now that we have submitted this KLM are asking for a bank account number. We have tried to enter an account number but they state it is not a european bank. They managed to take the money to pay for the flight from this account but not willing to accept for a refund. We tried to respond to the email various times but after 24 hours we get a response stating that "as we ahve responded within 24 hours the case is now closed".
They also cancelled our flight home and changed us to one 24 hours later so we had to incur additional hotel costs. We submitted this as a separate claim and again getting the same response. Sorry you didnt reply so the case is now closed. We have the evidence of our sent e-mails but I am just so lost with where to go next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I will most definitely never fly with KLM again.

Did you try giving them your bank account number in IBAN format rather than just sort code and account number?
Depending on the reason for the flight cancellation you may also be entitled to compensation as well as your expenses.
Their website lists a UK phone number and also WhatsApp and Facebook messenger links you could try https://www.klm.co.uk/contact/flight-disruption/compensation If they stick with "case closed" you could try submitting your claims again under a new case.
If you still get nowhere then KLM are subscribe to AviationADR for dispute resolution and you can log a case there https://www.aviationadr.org.uk/initial-complaints-check-page/0 -
Thats brilliant thanks so much for your help. I will give this a try.0
