For Barclays Premier and other Premier providers, if you don't have a salary that meets the minimum (i.e. £75,000 for Barclays Premier Rewards, £100k for NatWest), and you were to fill out the application truthfully with your real salary, but circulate earnings around meaning the overall internal transfers were £75,000 per year (or the minimum for the premium), would this be a problem and result in a rejected application please? ThanksIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

I don't remember ever giving Barclays a Salary figure when they upgraded me, but then I had a Barclays bank account with a connect debit card (anyone remember those), so when they upgraded me to Premier it was just a phone call with a Barclays Premier manager and I don't remember being asked about Salary, but it was a long time ago, and my salary when I had the Bank Account originally certainly would not have qualified me for Premier.1 -

I have to ask, how is it you maintain all these accounts, do you move the money between them or actually have the income going into each account each month?
the only card I have yet to see on here is a real private bank such as Adam and company.0 -

I have many of the same cards, excluding the Lloyds Private but with the Santander Select. I was upgraded by Barclays many years ago, when my salary got actually paid in. I have moved my Salary into HSBC Premier (after obtaining status though P60/Tax Return) and could have retained Barclays Premier for all those years without circulating the salary (the £20 charge has only just about been introduced) by decided to continually circulating my full earning so that Barclays had easy visibility of it when I had to discuss financial products with them (mostly mortgages).
as a matter of fact, here is a quick screen shot of my current selection on Apple Wallet (the red Santander is Actually Santander Zero -Forex Free Card- and the MBNA is the Horizon one - another Forex Free on Visa network).
PS: affluent people can and will still be benefiting from frequenting this forum, as they will be equally keen on making even more money or make their money going a bit further.2 -

And I thought I was well-off ! I need to have a lot of money to be accepted for my 2 main cards.
May I ask what income YOU have to have IN TOTAL to obtain the 13 Cards you have as shown in the above pic please ? I estimate it to be somewhere in the region of £10 million. What an asset your knowledge will bring to this forum.0 -
I have a child and Co card, I can’t say I use it because I am too embarrassed. Even though you can get the card easily, I just don’t like to show wealth or even give the impression of wealth.0

You obviously would benefit from following this forum more actively than you have done and, more Importantly, accept when your posts have been highlighted to be incorrect… I have been an active forum member for about 7 years so I am indeed sharing my knowledge, but cannot says the same for you describing a “free” account as “packaged” and offering the same benefits as the packaged account costing £31 pm months more (same means minus Travel insurance, Barack down cover, home emergency cover, concierge service, etc) 😂
BTW this forum is indeed frequented (or at least has been at some point) by Coutts and other “real” Private Banks customers, Barclays Wealth and from other similar banks, so we are not alone.1 -
