It’s ok, we don’t understand premier accounts. Like a car, I suspect the number of premier accounts you hold is perhaps linked to the inadequate size of something else, and I don’t mean a wallet!WillPS said:What a confusing mixture of willy-waggling and offense taken over nothing this thread has turned in to.0 -
Okay I admit I don't have an account with every bank in the UK, but what my username on the forum has to do with it I really don't know ?, but as you apparently know the answer I would love to hear it.Richard1212 said:To Marchitiello----Once again, I repeat that I choose to have a NatWest Premier Select rather than a Black Account, simply because it it the one that I prefer and I do wish you would do as you wish and leave me in peace to do as I wish.
As for pretentious, I am not using the word "pretentious" to describe the services ; I use it to describe the word "concierge" ( it just conjures up a picture of an old lady sitting at the open door of her lower floor flat in a block of Parisian apartments ). It is a word that
As for you saying that I do not understand "Packaged", it's a bit rich when I already have that with my NatWest Premier Select "Packaged Account" as I have said in previous post, and I am happy with my Package rather than another "concierge" that I do not need due to existing services I already enjoy. So YOU have your account and I'll have mine.
As for the intervention of Saver101101, who claims to have Select and Premium and Black Accounts with every bank in the UK , I wonder why a multi-millionaire calls himself "Saver" on this forum
??????? No, please don't tell me : I already know the answer..........

Wow I do like the HSBC premier cards. Not sure about Lloyds. Hopefully one day!
I have to ask, how is it you maintain all these accounts, do you move the money between them or actually have the income going into each account each month?
the only card I have yet to see on here is a real private bank such as Adam and company.0 -

Never move money between accounts are your bound to get picked up and the accounts closed, anyway its not meant to be boastful, I am really not that sort of person (Despite what others may think, I was only trying prove a point that each account is different and has different benefits), I remember years ago having only £20 left at the end of the week and having to choose between petrol and food, at that point I vowed never to be in that situation again, I make each account work for me and save as much as I can.[Deleted User] said:Wow I do like the HSBC premier cards. I think you previously posted about having the Lloyds Premier Account from when it was a pay for account that you have always avoid paying the fee for by having a £10k balance on it?Saver101101 said:

the only card I have yet to see on here is a real private bank such as Adam and company.I was assigned a Personal Relationship Manager at Lloyds around 2016/17 but was told that they did not have a Premier account to be offered any longer, only an existing product that legacy customers could retain. I have only be offered an occasional chat about financial products and a bit more of a sales pitch when they launched the joint venture with Schroder Personal Wealth.0 -
It’s a practice many use in here but you may not get away with it for premium accounts.Saver101101 said:

Leaving money in accounts to maintain them, this may not always be best if they don’t pay interest etc so has to be worth it if you use what the accounts offers. For me there is no point for Barclays premier as I just want an overdraft.1 -
The thing is that officially they offer overdraft to other accounts types but the Basic Account, so I am not sure why you are being told that the only way to get it is to have a Premier Account.[Deleted User] said:

I think what Deleted_User means its because the Barclays Premier is a Fee Free (Interest Free) £500 (Used to be £1k) overdraft, so is HSBC Premier as well, so if you could get that account (Without the £20 monthly fee) you are getting an interest free overdraft of £500 rather than having to pay interest etc if you used it ?, where on a normal account if you used the overdraft you would pay for it.Marchitiello said:
