@Le_Kirk any advice about submitting a bundle, does it have to be printed and to Gladstones as well as the court, or will an email suffice for Gladstones.  Do i have to exhibit their photos, if i intend to point out their flaws, or can i rely on the fact theyre in their witness statement and theyre not turning up
You submit your bundle by e-mail to court and Gladstones using the same e-mail for both and copied to yourself and that way the claimant cannot try the old trick of saying they did not receive the defendant's bundle; just watch out for any court imposed limit (say 50 pages maximum).  If you are pointing out the claimant's flaws, it depends if adding their photos takes you over any court limit, you could just refer to the page number and paragraph in the claimant's WS.
  • @Le_KirkThank you so much, that has saved me an awful lot of time and printer ink this morning. It will be a close call re pages, especially with the additional cases to quote. I've printed a lot of it as reference for me. The additional cases , shall I append them in my skeleton argument, or add to my preliminary matters document, or as a supplementary witness statement?

Anything you have referred to and are depending upon in your WS should be an exhibit at the end of your WS.  The skeleton argument must have the cases/transcripts embedded in the argument.

You can merge PDFs and compress them to make them smaller for emailing.

Thanks.  I finally got these documents drawn up today. My main concern was the number of pages generated and in total it amounts to around 58.
There will be mistakes I know and the process of putting it together was time consuming. I feel relieved it’s completed and I can now prepare myself for Friday. Thanks for everyone’s input.

We've seen many WS's rejected on the basis their pages have exceeded 50 in number. You should 'prune' accordingly, but if not possible, short of making the document unreadable, you could try to gradually reduce the font size until you achieve 50 pages. Just a thought.

  • I note that when I follow the link it gives my Dropbox name. Not sure what I can do other than delete all the Dropbox links. Or open a different Dropbox account.

I'm no expert in Dropbox protocols, but are you able to change your username there to something more anonymous?

  • I’ll try. I’ve tried deleting the links but where a quote has been made I can’t edit someone else’s post.
