Well a 30 minute drive door to door took 1 hour 10 minutes due to an accident on Bluebell Hill (if you know, you know!) Why is it that a couple of years ago short trouser lengths in M&S were a perfect length for me. I tried an extra short pair on today and they were too long!!!! I can only assume I must be shrinking lol RedRuby I had a hysterectormy 18 months ago and it took me 4 weeks before I felt anywhere near normal so I'm sure you'll start to feel better soon. Hope everyone is keeping warm. Love the bagpipe picture Gers.

Mixed day weather-wise, started off chilly and sunny then turned to alternating drizzle, light rain. Had a good walk while it was nice and then did my pottering around town while if was not so.
Shopping delivery fine, 3 subs (only 1 returned) and no OOS, except I forgot to order blueberries and soured cream, so picked them up in town. Payday treat to me of a lovely "hug mug" for my tea - a ridged circular one that I can wrap my hands around and is not too heavy when full, they are fab for painful hands.
@topsyturphy best wishes to your DS, it will certainly be a long haul for him and you, but as you say he is still here, that is the main thing.
Time for another cuppa and feet up for a while (painful Achilles tendon) before I finally get to make the salmon linguine carried over from yesterday.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)9 -

I had it valeted last week and the young man had put it full on! Now released by a neighbour so hopefully get out tomorrow10

Topsy, my goodness, it's very frightening to think what damage you could have done trying to get him in a car by yourself. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that he recovers speedily and well.
poppy, good to see you, I am full of admiration for your fortitude with all you have been through.
I'm pleased with the progress I made on my sewing today, tomorrow will be the more creative bit.
