Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Very dark and frosty start to the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy..
Dinner last night was jacket potato, cheese and beans, chicken, boiled egg, pork pie(menfolk) after hairdresser had left.
Work for just half a day today at the other office.
Work was quite busy yesterday.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc.
Very mild this morning but a bit breezy and damp.
Busy day yesterday but not as bad as I had expected. Called to see DD on my way home, nice chat without the little one, she was at her Granny's.
DW emptied this morning and the recycling sorted ready for the bins going out tonight. The iron is still in the cupboard, maybe tonight!
Hugs to those in need, hope everyone is well. Take care. XX11 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.It seems to be quite mild this morning, damp though. The stairs are finished , ther's just some painting to do around the front door - it hasn't been too bad really - I think the thought of doing it was worse than the reality. There are some new curtains to go up on the landing after I've cleaned the window, hope they'll look ok.I remembered last night that I'd said I would visit an elderly friend this morning, she's housebound but likes to see friends still. She only lives a few minutes' walk away so it's no problem.I think the rest of the day will be spent doing general housework, and I'll nip out for some bread. That's what's planned anyway.Thinkig of our poorly people, hope your cough is easing off TA.Take care folks.11

Morning folks - thanks for starting us off nmlc. Hope you enjoy your half day.Yesterday's trip was successful. A lovely assistant in JL set up a replacement machine, fetched water, found a paper cup and tested it all. 🎉 She was a little confused at first but soon caught up and got stuck in. This morning I had coffee straight after my get-up wee!
My car flashed up a message telling me that it's 50 miles overdue for service, I'm on the fence about that though I suppose a reminder each time is a good thing. Mind you, I've only done 12,500 miles so it seems a bit early. Anyway, I've booked it in for Friday, seems the first service is merely an oil filter change.Today I'll be mostly resting! I've roast chicken and sides for lunch, more operation Seoul, which really fills me up. My cleaner is coming on Thursday this week as her car is in for its MOT today, that suits me well.Topsy - good to read that your son is more mobile. Have you contacted PALS yet?
Healing thoughts to all our poorlies, sad and missing. Happy Burns Night day.

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. It's mild and damp here too.
I need to put my plumber's head on today so fingers crossed I don't flood the kitchen! Other than that plans are fluid - jobs may get done or may not! While I was in town yesterday Boots texted to say my shipping order of meds was ready (apart from one "owing") so that saved me a special trip down.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for the poorlies, recovering or fed up. Take care all and stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Morning all. Unexpected day off work today so am going to Bluewater as I still have a voucher from my birthday last month to spend. Lets see if there are any bargains left. Not sure what to have for dinner yet but I'm sure we won't starve! Hope everyone has a good day and the poorlies are feeling better.

Morning all. It's wet here atm and my recycling has already been collected. If it stops raining I'll have a walk to the village PO.

Morning all. Hooray; no frost overnight!
Am heading out this morning as the photo frames we bought yesterday in Ikea aren't quite right so I'll take them back for a refund and then pick up some food shopping. I'm making a pudding for Saturday night at a friend's house so need cream cheese and double cream. Will make the pudding on Friday as it needs a day to settle before cutting; it's a lemon curd meringue cake from a very old Good Housekeeping recipe.
Need to defrost some salmon to have later with roasted veg and we have some lovely spiced figs to finish up afterwards.
Hope everyone has a good day.11 -
Morning everyone
Quite windy here this morning but at least it's milder. My bulbs are starting to come through in the big planter in the back garden.
No work today so I'll go down to M and S for some bread, see if theres any bargains at Farmfoods and then call at mam and dads for a cuppa on my way home. Planning a quiet afternoon then little one will come for tea - might be a stir fry with noodles.
Love the bagpiper Gers - at the school my nursery is part of they'll have Burns lunch today with one of the teaching assistants playing her bagpipes.
Hope everyone has a good day today x11 -
