What do you use to stick Dashcam to Windscreen? Mine keeps falling off!

Hi all
Had my dashcam fitted a year ago and all has been well since. However, for no reason at all, last week it fell off the windscreen. I assume it was the cold weather. So, I went on Ebay and bought some new sticky pads (3M - See images)) which I assumed would do the trick. However, these seem to be no good as well because the camera fell off again yesterday. Anybody offer any advice on a better adhesive pad?
Thanks

I use a dashcam suction mount - like this. It does still fall off in the very hot months in summer occasionally but otherwise stays put!

Yes mate. That's the 'other' problem. Suction ones fall off in summer.0

Are you able to mount it to the dash rather than windscreen? Some car dashes seem quite flat to allow for thisAim:12mth Emergency Fund -> £8441/£16152 (52%) Aim 2: Mortgage Overpayment -> Paused until other aim fulfilled.2

Make sure windscreen is clean (with glass cleaner not just wipe) them wet the suction cup slightly before applying it.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0

Mine has been on 3 years without a problem so I suggest you inquire at Halfords who fitted mine1

Same as MikeJXE, my front and rear cameras have been secure since 2016 using the 3M double sided pads supplied with them.Something is not being done correctly or might I suggest it's not genuine 3M.Gorilla(as in glue)make a very sticky clear tape on a roll which can be cut to length. That is very sticky.

No more nails.0

It might not even be the sticky pad, it may be the window not being cleaned properly0

Thanks all. I've cleaned the window and used Gorilla Tape now. See how that goes.0

Just attach to one of the air vents. Attaching to the windscreen obstructs your vision especially for those people that stick them somewhere in the middle of the screen.0
