The leasing Company gave you as the day-to-day keeper not the driver, they cannot know who was driving unless they were there! You need to see the original PCN to find out if it is POFA compliant.

    That's fine.

Send the email I suggested earlier.

HILARIOUS that a sneaky phone photo of a car captured in the dark by a lurking bounty hunter taking phone photos over 2 minutes flat, clearly in a marked bay, is being said to be "parking in a No Parking area"!

See why we say it is a scam?!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You are giving out far too much personal information on this forum. Enough possibly for the PPC to identify the driver, especially if they were to see how many people had access to it.

    STOP.

Do not go round telling anyone who may or may not have parked. The entities in play are the registered keeper, day to day keeper, hire/lease company, hirer/lessee.

Ok, noted. Is there a way to delete a couple of prior posts then?

Dont worry, I have realised that as I am a new poster, I cant edit these.

So a bit of an update - I received a response from Gladstones, on Apr 3rd, after my initial response to them on Jan 24th.

They have sent evidence of the 2 PCN's from PPS sent to the incorrect business address, and photos of what appears to be the lease companies vehicle in question, parked in a 'No parking at any time' bay, for a total of circa 2 mins based on the timestamps.

They also said that the SAR needs to be made directly to their client - PPS.

They mention a deadline date of 3rd May for payment.

    Any advice is welcomed.

Do I now contact PPS for the SAR?

I have looked through the beginners guides and stickies but struggling to find my next correct steps. Thanks in advance.

    Ignore that!

Yes, of course. A link to a SAR template is in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post.
but struggling to find my next correct steps.
Is the Gladstones letter headed up 'Letter Of/Before Claim' (or very similar)?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks, will do the SAR to PPS now.

Yes the GS letter says 'Letter Before Claim' on it - which I received from my accountants back in Jan after the PCN was sent to incorrect company address.
  • Also, with the SAR template, it asks for my name etc....

All correspondence has been addressed to my company name from PPS/Gladstones so far - how should I handle this in the SAR?
