    Disbursements are things that the FD pays for, outside of their services - flowered, crem costs etc. They may have been missed, or the supplier late in invoicing.

    They'll agree with you that everything should be upfront and transparent - but you can't legislate against errors.
    Thank you for explaining. I've taken another look at the invoice and can't see anything missing. The list is: Embalming, Flowers, Limos, Coffin, Funeral Service, Service Sheets, Church Fee and Re-opening of existing plot. That looks like everything to me, so I'm at a loss. 
    Hopefully things will be made clear soon.

    I paid for the church musician and engineer directly. I think it's for the newspaper ad.
