I am both clutching at straws in asking this question on this forum BUT I consider people on the forum may be able to help me or tell me where to go !! (to get an answer hopefully)...I need 2 x necklace type pendant alert alarms/receivers, each with a simple single largish button so that if one of the pendant alarm button is pushed (activated) probably by the person in the house; the other pendant worn by someone possibly in the largish garden theirs will make a noise (alert) BTW anything complicated with smallish buttons is of no use. Thank you for your hopeful help and please ask any questions if needed AND low cost would be an advantage.

Your headline will make people laugh like it did me.
I was happily married for 50 years but some people will maybe give you some laughable answers0 -
Must it be 2 way? There exist pagers like this which (in the ad, I have not seen them in person) seem to meet several of your requirements, but not all https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0894TJKVP

On rereading, I see the one I linked to the bell bit wants to be plugged in - but it is basically a wireless doorbell, and those come battery powered so I imagine these do too.

MikeJXE: Deliberate attention seeking headline ".....wifes neck" a load of raised eyebrows with a multitude of connotations.Theotetica: thanks, I am aware of them but I need to wear it when I am out in the garden, garage, hobby workshop, basement or attic, we have wondered but rejected if we should move house.I have bought a small, cheap wireless door bell and receiver (where it states 100m ++ range). The receiver is bigger than I wished and instead of 100m accept 20m maxI am aware we can sign up to monthly carers ?? call system, where my dear wife can press a pendant button and they will answer and then they will phone me and/or others but that seems a bit unnecessary at this time AND it means me always having my smart (smarter than me) phone with me at all times.I continue to look for a simple 2 (or more) pendant/s system that can make an alarm call and also receive the alarm call.0

I saw the thread title and immediately thought of some lovely jewellery pieces that should make your wife very happy, but then realised you mean something entirely different altogether.
Does the solution have to be two pendants?
Could you accept something that is one pendant and alerts the other person via mobile phone / wifi?

Alternatively, my Dad had a mobile phone (DORO) with an big bold emergency button, which was the only button he could really press and that was programmed so that it texted / called Mum, then me, then my brother repeatedly on cycle until one of us responded. I had a quick look on the website just now and can't see the exact same phone, but that could be another option.

Be careful buying 2G and 3G phones. The internet suggests operators are going to start tuning off 3G this year. Different operators at different times. The internet also suggests 2G might be around for a bit longer but for how long, I can't say. Suggestion that UK government that 2G will be around till 2033, but who knows. Some details from Ofcom here:

Does your wifi reach the entire garden? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Not pendant to pendant, but this system does pendant to portable pager, which you could carry in a pocket or easily modify to carry around your neck. Not cheap, but may do the trick.
