180 square meters just for loft floor would be rather a lot, surely (my Edwardian 3-bed loft is probably 1/2 that)?

I'm amazed that not everyone got their lofts insulated a decade or so ago, when the energy suppliers were fitting it for free (or, at least, it was paid for within our energy bills).No free lunch, and no free laptop

Sorry for the confusion - yes, total area of the habitable floors is 180 square meters, the loft is a little under 70. So.. going by your link we will need 13 rolls, which seems to be £325.Hard to guess what the owners in 2012 were thinking. They seem to have had difficulty with their mortgage payments.0
