Virgin flights to US - how to find changeable tickets without paying the flexible fare

Hi there - does anyone know how to purchase changeable tickets with Virgin, flying to the US, without having to pay extra for flexible tickets?
When I was doing fare searches the other day, some regular economy tickets (not special "sale" tickets) were flagged as changeable but no cancellations allowed. Now I am doing the searches again, the tickets are now not changeable, and the only chageable options are flexible tickets.
I know that it depends on the ticket code as to whether they are changeable or not, but how do you find out the ticket codes? Virgin website does not display them. Do I need to go through an agent who can search the codes?
Thank you!

There will be a multitude of behind the scenes fare ticket classes and codes but what you need to select when booking online is the fare and ticket type that best suits your needs.  If you want a flexible ticket that should display in the search results. Expect however to pay a lot more for a fully flexible ticket.

If you can’t find a suitable fare online then call Virgin Atlantic or use a good local travel agent to help you.
