Old Three 123 SIM Top up

Hi

I have an old Three SIM that I use for OTP purposes. I have £1 of top up left. I have sent the odd text. Just wondering if I top up online, will I retain the 123 terms of service or revert to Threes current terms - regarding minimum activity and how long the top up will last.

Cheers

If it's like my old 123 SIM the change to rates will already have been applied. Try checking the balance, send a text and check again.

  • Thats true, but iv got the data reward sim with 200mb free each month, and 3 2 1 rates, i had the text about the rates going up,but they never did. Im still on the 3 2 1 rate.
  • Sorry but it's not the call rates I'm interested in it's more the terms of use. I've not put through a top up since 2016. If I top up will the credit continue to be kept as long as I keep receiving texts (through the OTP use)?

    Cheers
  • Yes. Credit on three never expires

Indeed. As I mentioned in my previous post my 321 PAYG rates increased on the date Three said they would. However, in this household we also have two Data Reward SIM's which are still operating at the original pre increase 321 rates.

As long as you meet their T's & C's, which I *think* is a 'chargeable event' every 6 (?) months?
