It's either because you are quoting the person then typing inside the quote box.
or
you are posting an image and haven't typed nine characters at least.
You merely have to type 9 characters not in a box.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No, that's not the reason. I am trying to type a reply, in the same way I have done with this one.0

I've found that if I hit "Quote" before entering a couple of returns in the comment box first then sometimes I can not get out of the quote box to add text under it. I now eneter three returns in comment box, place cursor on second line and then scroll up to hit "quote".Edit to add:I've just had a play and recreated how - if I go back into the quote box and delete some of the text at the bottom you can then leave yourself trapped inside the quote box.

Please then tell us here that you have done so.1 -

I'm having difficulties on my other thread, not this one. I have done nothing differently on this thread as to when I tried to post a reply on the other thread.
I have tried to find out where I can get help with this sort of issue - I'll look in the site feedback section as you suggested.0 -

@Malkie_Malk Do you have any draft posts from the other thread.
Look at your user profile.
See if there are any Drafts there. If so delete them, then try again to post in your other thread.
