Appliance warranty, from purchase or delivery??

I bought some appliances for my new kitchen end of December. The kitchen has been delayed until mid February.
Do the warranties for the appliances start from purchase date or delivery? As it stands I will have paid for them 2 months before they go in and if it's the former i am losing out on warranty time while they sit in Currys warehouse.

I would imagine it starts from when you register it0

The guarantee should start on the delivery date. This is from Curry’s website:
We will offer either a repair, exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 30 days of purchase (or delivery or installation). If the fault with your product occurs within its guarantee period (normally 12 months from delivery) we will offer you a prompt repair service*. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.

Any warranty I have ever registered started from date on receipt, so there could be a difference between warranty and guarantee dates.0
