Thank you for the welcome! I’ll probably be posting evening too 🙂 We had a lovely time with our friends the afternoon flew past. Very foggy on the way back so was glad hubby was driving - I’d rather drive in snow than fog. Hoping to get out in the garden for a bit tomorrow 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

@Suffolksue - We have one mortuary that does a lot of the services here. In one year I went to twelve different funerals for friends. The director started greeting me by name - even stopping going down the aisle in church one time. I used to take groups on tours to Salt Lake City, Utah, to do family history research. Figured I could tell I had been doing it too often when the maintenance staff at the hotel knew me by name - and I could name each of them even if we met in the grocery store (had to solve everyone's problems as tour guide). The worst though was when the principal and truant officer came to visit my class in high school - and they both greeted me by name. Got a lot of teasing from everyone wondering how I had managed to get in trouble enough. One went to my church and the other knew my father who taught in another school. I didn't dare get in trouble.5

Evening everyone
Had a hectic day yesterday got up to the hospital and was then Ds2 could go home. I did question it as I hadn’t got a bed set up in the lounge, also asked about getting him home via my car as it’s a 3 door and was told it would be fine.Later when all his medication arrived, I was told I would need to collect a wheelchair from downstairs near the entrance which I did, I got no help from the nursing staff trying to put him in the chair, even the other patients were telling the staff I needed help, they then told me I had got the wrong type and that his leg needed to be supported and to go and find another one. I then struggled to get my son back into the chair next to his bed on my own. Thankfully a porter who has just came on the ward helped me find the correct wheelchair with a leg support. The staff then told me that he needed to be on the rear seat in the car, so I ended up asking my dd1 who had travelled from up north to make a detour to collect him. We got home about 10pm.
hopefully he will rest better at home but I know it will be a long road and he may yet need another operation. Rant over.Today my Ds1 has put the bed that was delivered this morning together and my dd1 took me to the big Swedish store to get a mattress. So hopefully tonight he will sleep better.
Thank you for your support. Hope all the poorlies feel better soon. Hope those that aren’t sleeping manage some rest. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care8
