    So you had 4 separate listings which you combined into one parcel and sent out?

    I'm not quite sure what Ebay's policy is on that but looks like they've decided (rightly or wrongly) that you've only got proof of delivery for 1 parcel and therefore it only applies to one listing?

    It might just be a case of explaining to them that the 4 listings were posted together but I'm not sure if that's going to be sufficient - after all someone unscrupulous could just send 1 item and then use that proof of delivery against multiple items.

    Hmm, I can see your point there. Yes, 4 items, buyer said they put all in basket but couldn't buy/pay for all but would buy separate and I could refund her the difference on the price agreed.  Feel now, I could have been scammed.
    On that note, doesn't look like I have much chance of proving that they were all posted together.

  • Update - 1 x awaiting decision  -  Found in favour of the seller - with no impact on my account.

    So 2 items found "You weren't found at fault"   and 2 found reason as below;

    "We didn’t receive valid proof of delivery from you. Sellers must provide tracking information showing the item was delivered to the address provided in the order details. Some orders also require signature confirmation. Learn more about our signature confirmation policy."

    What is Valid proof of delivery ? accepted proof of delivery for two items and found "We didn’t receive valid proof of delivery from you" for the other two items - same proof was given.

  • That seems odd. Seems like someone at Ebay is applying the rules inconsistently. You may well need to contact them. Have you tried the online chat to see if they can give you a reason at least?

    Yes, odd to me as well, I supplied tracking number that confirmed delivery and a signature.  Was considering an appeal, there seems to be a box at the bottom of the outcome page stating I can appeal.

  • Good news  -  decided to appeal for one of the items and they upheld my appeal.   May try the other item as well.
    Thanks for your help.
