Agree on battery life - we get about two months before it needs re-charging. Bought an extra battery so I can just switch batteries every 2 months without any downtime.My main gripe with Ring is that the battery life didn't last as long as estimated. The battery is estimated to last between 6 to 12 months. However, in my case, it only lasted 3/4 months.
This could have been because of the motion sensor though, as I found it was too sensitive, even on the lowest setting. So, I ended up getting several notifications throughout the day whenever someone drives past or walks by.
Which version do you have? Ring 3 easily lets you adjust the motion sensor settings so that it won't pick up movement outside your property.1 -

I bought one around 2018, so I think it might have been Ring 2. They've probably improved the motion sensor in Gen 3.0
