As I said, you could choose a hearing and hope for a kindly Judge but frankly I don't see you getting your money paid to UKPC back in either situation.
Can't see you being allowed to defend the PAID claim as well as set aside the CCJ (the latter you can achieve).
@Sasanova's case also involves a correct address but no claim form served at all. You've not read it yet?
I would have recommended you do what they are doing... but because you wrongly paid UKPC my honest advice is this: I think asking the solicitor for CONSENT to set aside the CCJ is better because it's £108 (you won't get that back either).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I’ve already paid the solicitor the money they were claiming and I’ve sent evidence to the court along with an N443 form requesting cancellation of the CCJ.
this will resolve the CCJ and have this removed from my credit file right?
so surely it’s best to just get the confirmation of cancellation from the court and have this taken off my credit report?
then there will be no CCJ on my record?0 -
As long as you paid within 30 days of judgment, yes, CCJ is no more.
If it was later then no: paying it doesn't wipe it.
And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.
This is your only chance to change the law.
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Public Consultation.

I’m severely !!!!!! off about this whole thing. As you’ll have seen from my prior posts - I was onboard with fighting the firms and successfully won against UKPC at Popla in 2020.Receiving no letter of claim has really screwed me here - I couldn’t afford to risk having a CCJ on my record as I’m a property investor and rely on mortgages. So I just paid it when under pressure.I paid within 30 days, the date of the judgment is the 11th Jan and I paid it on the 17th Jan.
what I can say is UKPC have 2 more very similar PCNs they hold against me, so I’m guessing they will be coming for me with these now I’ve paid this CCJ off.I’m ready to fight for the next 2.Yes I’ll help with the mentioned agenda.1 -
Great resolve and we get it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
