    My new Natwest debit cards have 6 (3+3) small embossed dot's on them. FD ones have one dot.

    This notch just helps to insert the card correctly into a chip&pin machine. My Halifax Clarity CC has it too.

    Wierd to be against the design of something that spends 99% of the time hidden away, but I suppose some people like a whinge,

    i preferred the look of the old red cards.

    Really? my red one with silver writing looks fake, I might request a new one if they are issuing something different now.
