Not displaying blue badge in shopping centre

I have received two notices from Debt recovery plus , the creditor UKCPS Ltd. The parking date was 19.8.22. Apparently I hadn't displayed my blue badge. I have a blue badge, and I don't normally forget to display it. There was no sticky thing on windscreen, just these letters I ignored last year. At the time I thought it was a scam. I didnt think it was legally enforceable. The photo was of the back of my car. Not the front.
I do have a blue badge, I'm disabled I have a physical disability and autism.
The latest letter says if I don't make contact in 7 days we will assume you have chosen to ignore this letter and legal recovery action will begin. You have lost the right to appeal the charge by not responding sooner. I am now worried about someone coming to the door, as someone with autism spectrum disorder I have a social communication disorder and I don't react well to people just turning up on my doorstep.
Should I continue to ignore?

Hi
I can't help you with the possible caller. However, get an A4 sheet of paper and in big letters write something like " BB CAR WINDOW" - put it on the centre console, sitick it there etc but dont cover it. It may not help you forgetting every time but will help
Good luck0 -
The letter explains what will happen if you ignore it
I have a blue badge myself and know how easy it is to forget to put it out
I have been caught once and paid up immediately. It was my fault so why shouldn't I ?0 -

I paid the local authority1 -
Have you informed then that you have a protected characteristic (disability) as per the equality act?
And they must cancel
If not, then do so now.
The terms "protected characteristic", "must" and "equality act" are important.

Also the retailer would have cancelled the PCN for you (in your case) had you asked. There is a legal right to 'reasonable adjustments' and you had a right to use the bay.
If it was a Council PCN in your case, the Council would have cancelled it on appeal. You don't just pay.
Did you not notice that the OP says this notorious thug ex-clamper firm took photos of the BACK window not the windscreen?!
Typical scam!
Obviously they just appeal ONCE with the Blue Badge, to set the scene & their position, then ignore UKCPS (they don't sue, and if they did, the OP would win).
They can always get the retailers/landowner to cancel it = PLAN A.
It is wholly incorrect MSE advice to tell a person to pay a private parking charge. Please avoid advising people to pay scams.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Genuine question
When people don't pay having taken help from you and others - what is the average lenght of time the parking charge people give up? I am a bit worried as are many that post here getting scary letters and this often builds up from what I have read. So, do all people win and what is a win - is it always the parking people write back and say - "parking charges removed" or something like that to assure the vicitm they won't be hounded in a week, month year, or even two years later?
Thanks0 -
Can I clarify, is this what I do?
Write to Debt recovery plus? Or UKCPSLtd?
Regarding parking charge notice xxx
Dated xxx the driver has a protected characteristic (disability) under the Equality Act 2010. Therefore the charge must be cancelled.
(Do you mention a blue badge as its been stated not relevant in a private car park)
Thankyou.I have autistic spectrum disorder which is a social communication disorder so please be patient with me.0
