Avantigas Non delivery

I order gas before Christmas but as yet we have not received any,now down to 5%.looking at trustpilot we are not the only ones having problems with Avantigas. Does anyone know what is happening with this company because they seem to be holding their customers to ransom with the 2 year contracts?

All the LPG companies have supply/delivery issues at this time of year. Calor are exactly the same - social media full of stories every year of people who have run out and have no heating/hot water for a couple of weeks. We always try to manage our usage so we don't run out in Jan/Feb!

Are you on auto top-up with telemetry or do you have to do manual orders yourself?

Still no delivery from Avantigas and unable to get through on the phone.We have no central heating as we are saving what little gas we have for hot water.If you are an avantigas customer don't expect a delivery anytime soon and it doesn't matter how vulnerable you are they don't care!

Finally we had a delivery on the 31st January so we decided to sign up for auto top up. We had a email from Avanti at the beginning of July saying our auto top up is on its way but it didn't arrive,then we had another email saying its due but that never arrived either. Fortunately we still have plenty of gas but it seems that the problems with delivery is still on going even during the quieter months.

My vulnerable parents, one of which is recovering from bowel cancer and needs warm water to wash were told their gas would be delivered on 29/1/24 they are still waiting for the delivery nearly two weeks after. The gas tank is on 4% and they are getting worried. I would like to change their supplier but they are in contract until March 2025. Are they in breach of their contract if they aren’t delivering when they should? Or have they got something in fine print about this? Not happy with the company at all, very difficult to get in touch with.
