About a week ago we booked flights for 4 passengers from Heathrow to Bangkok. It had a stop over for 3 hours on the way out and 5 hours on the way back in Bahrain which was fine. Today we received an email and text from them that they have changed the itinerary and now we have to also fly from Bahrain to Singapore meaning that we now how 3 flights to navigate with our autistic son instead of two.
What if anything can we do about this? Are we entitled to a refund? Are we entitled to compensation? We should have been landing in Bangkok at 9.30am and now are not landing until 3.30pm local time.
I didn't think they could add another leg to the journey so any advice would be greatly appreciated

when are you due to travel?
If after end March this may be a reschedule due to change from Winter to Summer timetable. Bahrain to Bangkok is not a daily flight so it may be that your day of travel no longer has a direct flight.
If you have some flexibility you may want to look to the Gulf Air website and find an alternative that suits (may involve travel day before or day after original)
Conditions of Carriage should advise what they do in the event of flight cancellations/reschedules. A refund may be possible.0 -

If you had a confirmed booking on a direct flight then what happened to that flight, i.e. has it been cancelled, and, if so, as above, how far in advance is this? What outcome are you looking for?sew6773 said:What if anything can we do about this? Are we entitled to a refund? Are we entitled to compensation?
