Just to endorse @MikeJXE 's post about the relatively short (useful) life of Motorola's phones.
I bought a Moto G 5G Plus in July 20, cost £300. Great phone, very happy with it.
But, received one OS update (to Android 11) and the last security update in July 22.
That's pretty poor value if you want to keep a phone that has up-to-date security. And, to the best of my knowledge, this information about life of support is not available at the time of purchase.1 -
Just to give context Apple released a security update today, including one for the iPhone 5S from 2013. (Which seems to get about one every six months or so)0
