Dodgy MOT?

Hi all,
2 months ago i have had an MOT, which is passed with a few advisories such as both back tyres are wants changing,
the guy who did an mot (by mistake done a service for my car as well)
after that I haven't been driving car for a week,
one day decided to drive this car and all faults start coming out, the air conditioner hasn't been working properly, a month after the tyre just blow up while i was driving and on another tyre the wires comes thru,
called RAC and they have said that suspension is broken and covered in rust and there is no way that car would passed an MOT as its been snapped for a while and been rubbing the tyre from the inside!
is there any chance to prove it that its been a dodgy MOT and because of it i had a car accident?

So did you replace the 2 tyres that had advisories on them? Aircon is not an MOT item, so not relevant. No free lunch, and no free laptop1

Air conditioning, unless you specifically requested it, probably wouldn't be included in a service and doesn't relate to an MOT.
An MOT certifies that a vehicle is roadworthy on the day of inspection. It does not guarantee it will remain so for the next year.
The tyres had an advisory to replace. You have continued to drive the vehicle and they have not been replaced, it will be difficult to prove any fault of the garage in this regard.
It will also be difficult to prove the suspension damage didn't occur after the MOT, if it has been rubbing for several weeks this may have accelerated the tyre wear.
Regarding the corrosion, provided it is within 3 months of the test date and it hasn't been repaired, a complaint can be raised to the DVSA - see here https://www.gov.uk/getting-an-mot/problems-with-your-test-result. For the other possible defects you are outside the 28 days to appeal.
Even if the DVSA rechecks your vehicle and agrees with you the vehicle should have failed due to the corrosion, you will have an uphill battle to prove their negligence in that regard caused an accident a couple of months later.0 -
I have ordered the tyres but not changed them yet (its just an advisory not dangerous like he said) and all that time i have been driving my other car, but decided to drive another car for a few days.
As the suspension been already snapped because tyres been angled even before the MOT and lots of other garages been saying it without even doing an MOT (or even asking them) just when i parked next to them.

It's likely a pothole caused the suspension to snap and led to the tyre bursting. It's easily done.
MOTs don't check aircon.
What do you mean by "The wires come thru"?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

But if suspension had broken. Then you as a driver would have noticed that car was not handling as it should & also one corner is lower than the rest.
Especially given the state of roads, it would have been making some loud thuds every time you hit a bump.

I presume the RAC mean a rear shock spring has snapped. What is the Accident you had?0

Why would they advise tyres but ignore the potential cause of wear, yet flag up other unrelated issues, it seems unlikely to me....
Springs snap, it's one of those things, if it happened several months ago, did you not notice that the car's driving characteristics had changed?
It's a bit of a leap for the RAC to say that it happened more than two months ago - how could they possibly know?0 -

You are exactly correct as "advisories" are just that, advisories.
As others have stated, air-con/climate control is not part of an Mot
More often than not, air-con/climate control is not aprt of almost any service unless you seek a stand alone one
About rustm it can build up quikly when car is standing in damp, cold weather esepcially having been driven in wet weather and parked
Yes, springs (supsension springs) do snap and I'm no mechanic but it is hard to note beforehand.
One of my nephews had a Ford Fiesta automatic i t was the old style car 2007 - he took it to an mot and they showed him the snapped spring on the front shock abosorber and they asked him if he had noted it. The thing is i pick up things like that easily and I was in the car with him. It the way the spring snapped as it still sat in the right place as he is a gentle driver
It is hard to tell at times with the best will in the world
I feel for you,
What outcome are you wanting?
Take care if you can't post again.
